PROJECTS WITH A PURPOSE
Hey, welcome to Average Gallery. We’re currently taking up space in the middle of Perth High Street, Scotland.
We're a blend of creativity, community, and making a real impact. This isn't a regular gallery – it's a hub of inspiration, connection and activism.
From the ground floor up our space turns in to artist studios and collective meeting rooms, with over 10+ artists and groups accessing the space at different time of the day and night. Visual Arts, Drama and Theatre, Community Arts, and several other Creative Industries and Personal Practices - our studio spaces are brimming with innovative energy and creative vibes.
Okay, let's talk about projects and stuff.
First up, we've got Project Echo – it's all about you awesome folks aged 16-25, and we're diving into the big issues like the environment and society, all through the lens of art. We're all about sparking discussions and igniting change through thought-provoking and immersive workshops. We're talking chats and chill that make you think and an exhibition coming in October to promote discussion and change.
Oh, and have you heard about the Average Ensemble? It's not your regular theatre group – a dynamic Young People's Theatre Company that's all about redefining the stage experience. Their performances challenge norms, celebrate diversity, and leave you both entertained and enlightened. These young performers are all about pushing boundaries and celebrating all the things that make us unique. Expect performances that make you laugh, think, and maybe even shed a tear.
INCLUSIVITY AND OPENNESS
Oh, by the way, we're not just any space – we're a safe(r) one. We're all about being open, inclusive, and totally down for whatever makes you, you. If you're part of the LGBT+ and Queer community, you've got a home here, no questions asked.
Be You, Be Proud.
